Meet Attorney Morris

L. Mialon Morris is a private attorney practicing law in the areas of criminal, family, probate, and eviction law for the last 8 years. Attorney Morris has maintained her own law practice, L. Mialon Morris-Attorney at Law, in West Akron, Ohio since September 2019.

She graduated from the Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science-Criminal Justice from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Additionally, she obtained an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Atlanta Technical College in Atlanta, Georgia before pursuing her bachelor’s degree.

Attorney Morris has maintained contracts with the Ohio Domestic Violence Network and the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence for the last four years. During this time, she has assisted numerous survivors, and their children in pursuing justice within the legal system. In addition, she has been a volunteer Attorney for Community Legal Aid since 2019 and achieved the Volunteer Attorney of the Year award in 2021. Attorney Morris has also performed countless hours of community service in her hometown of Akron, Ohio.

Currently, while maintaining her own law practice, Attorney Morris accepts criminal and domestic appointments from the Summit County Court of Common Pleas, as well as sustaining the position of Defense Attorney for the court’s Turning Point Program (TPP) that specializes in assisting defendant’s gain sobriety and be the best version of themselves.
